The Aragonese Association of Women Entrepreneurs (Arame)<\/strong> held an electoral general assembly yesterday in which Mar\u00eda L\u00f3pez Palac\u00edn<\/strong> was elected president<\/strong> of the organisation for the next four years. The manager of the L\u00f3pez Soriano Group<\/strong> headed the only candidacy presented.<\/p>\n The new board of directors is made up of Myriam Monterde Maldonado, director of Arte por cuatro, with the position of first vice-president of Arame, together with Ana Cristina Esteban Baranda, manager of Alcanalytics, second vice-president. Miriam Almaz\u00e1n Monge, managing partner of Afiris; Nathalia Antas Mart\u00ednez, CEO of Zaragoza Servicios; Ana Bel\u00e9n Arcos Uribe, of Posada Abad\u00eda de Si\u00e9tamo; Irene Carmen Lequerica, executive director of DICSA; Cristina Gallart Saura, president of Fribin; Nieves Garc\u00eda Casarejos, director of the Guidance and Employment Service and of the Expert Degree in Social Responsibility Management at the University of Zaragoza; Charo Guill\u00e9n Mateo, creator of Mercabarrio; Beatriz L\u00f3pez Sanz, director of Ibermac; Ana L\u00f3pez Trenco, manager of Asapme; and Olga Pinilla Barcelona, director of Arteymerchan.<\/p>\n L\u00f3pez Palac\u00edn takes over from Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas Lorente Ozc\u00e1riz who has been at the head of the association since 2008 and who last March was elected president of the employers’ association Cepyme Zaragoza.<\/p>\n \u2018I want to thank you for the work done so far and to keep everything that has worked well in Arame, as well as the 12 women who said yes when I invited them to be on the new board,\u2019 said the new Arame president. \u2018We believe that the diversity of the new board is the perfect mirror of the members,\u2019 she added.<\/p>\n L\u00f3pez assured that she and her team will try to give visibility not only to the association, but also to the members, \u2018trying to find solutions to the common problems we have, without closing the doors to any of the other organisations in our region\u2019. All of this, she continued, \u2018occupying our place, looking for points of union and alternatives to the daily problems we have, in the case of Arame, mainly associated with our gender\u2019. \u2018We have come a long way but there is still a long way to go\u2019, he concluded.<\/p>\n L\u00f3pez Palac\u00edn is also Honorary Consul of Germany in Arag\u00f3n. In recent years she has held positions in various institutions and organisations.
